AI & Data Science Camp for American International School (AIS) Hong Kong

Last week Kigumi Group was privileged to complete a 4 day summer camp with OWN Academy in Hong Kong for the American International School (AIS) Hong Kong. The camp, which Kigumi ran the “AI and Data Science” track for, included students from 14-18 years.

The custom curriculum that Kigumi built immersed them in key parts of a start up experience for an AI education company, including the product development cycle; debate-style verbal arguments on human and machine intelligence; iteration of personal projects that leveraged AI tools without diluting human uniqueness; and coming up with product solutions to meet pain points of users.

The camp was book ended with a field trip to Cyberport, where students learned about the world of start ups across various verticals and engaged in a Q&A with an AI entrepreneur. Thank you to the OWN Academy team for the opportunity and to AIS Hong Kong!
